Benesch is proud to announce that, for the third consecutive year, the firm has been recognized in the Vault rankings for Best Summer Associate Program. In the 2026-2027 rankings, Benesch rose to #9 for Best Summer Program for Attorney Interactions in addition to the overall ranking for Best Summer Associate Program. The firm was ranked in all categories related to Summer Associate Programs, including Career Development and Social Experiences, underscoring Benesch’s ongoing commitment to providing a meaningful and enriching experience for summer associates.

The Benesch Summer Associate Class of 2025 included 45 law students based in Cleveland, Chicago, Columbus, San Francisco, Wilmington, Del. and New York City, marking the firm’s largest summer class to date. The program features a robust training curriculum, a dynamic social calendar and opportunities to work in each of the firm’s core practice areas. Together, these programs provide future attorneys with the knowledge, skills and experiences that lay a solid foundation for a successful legal career at Benesch.

Vault’s 2026-2027 rankings are based on its Annual Associate Survey, conducted from October 22, 2025, to January 23, 2026. Junior associates who participated in their firm’s summer associate program rated their experiences in six areas, including attorney interactions, substantive assignments, training and mentoring, preparation for associate life, quality of events and satisfaction with firm-sponsored social opportunities. The rankings for Attorney Interactions, Career Development and Social Experiences reflect scores in those specific categories, while the Overall Best Summer Associate Program ranking is based on the average of all six ratings.

In addition to these honors, Benesch was newly ranked among the Best Law Firms for Inclusion and Best Law Firms for People with Disabilities. The firm was also recognized for Integration of Laterals & Clerks and Informal Training, Mentoring and Sponsorship. These designations reflect Benesch’s dedication to helping lateral hires transition smoothly into the firm’s culture while providing ongoing support and guidance to all attorneys throughout their careers.
