Benesch Featured in Crain’s Chicago Business on Chicago Office Expansion | “Law firm beefs up Wacker Drive office space”
December 9, 2025
Benesch was featured in Crain’s Chicago Business for its continued growth in Chicago. The firm has signed an agreement for an additional full floor at 71 S. Wacker Drive, which will add approximately 33,000 square feet to its footprint. The expansion will bring the Chicago office to more than 130,000 square feet in the 48-story tower.
While many large law firms are downsizing amid increased remote work, Benesch is expanding to keep pace with sustained attorney and staff growth. The Chicago office now includes nearly 150 attorneys and more than 240 total attorneys and staff, reflecting remarkable growth over the past several years.
“Client demand continues to increase across our core practices, and this additional space allows us to support that growth, strengthen the in-person collaboration that’s so important to our culture and position Benesch for the continued significant expansion we anticipate in the market,” said Benesch Managing Partner Gregg Eisenberg.
