Benesch, one of the fastest growing AmLaw 200 firms, welcomes Kevin Cash as its Chief Financial Officer. Cash joins from Wilson Elser where he served as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer. He brings a strong background in law firm finance and operations, having previously served as the Chief Financial Officer at three other firms, two of which were significant AmLaw 100 firms.
Cash will lead the firm’s financial functions and work closely with the Managing Partner, Administrative Partner, Chief Strategy & Operating Officer and Executive Committee to support the firm’s continued evolution and growth.
“We are building something special at Benesch, and we see Kevin as a key piece of our operational puzzle as we continue to grow and serve our client base,” stated Managing Partner, Gregg Eisenberg. “Kevin brings deep industry expertise from top performing AmLaw firms. We are looking for him to ensure that we match the sophistication of our financial practices and processes to that of our practice areas and market position.”
“I had the privilege of working with Kevin when he was in prior roles and know that his deep qualifications and cultural alignment will make him a strong fit in a critical role at the firm,” said Chief Strategy & Operating Officer Scott Golin. “We are excited for Kevin to help us continue to make progress on specific goals in our strategic plan, re-evaluate our processes with fresh eyes informed by best practices, collaborate across our C-suite and drive efficiency in our financial functions.”
“Benesch’s story and trajectory are compelling and I’m excited to join a firm that is looking to continue its growth and evolution,” said Cash. “I am impressed with the firm’s culture, entrepreneurialism, practice depth and collaborative service focus, and I look forward to hitting the ground running.”
Cash graduated with a B.S. in Accountancy and Specialization in Decision Sciences from Miami University in 1986 and is a Certified Public Accountant.
“I am looking forward to starting a new journey at Benesch,” said Cash. “Benesch has built a strong reputation in the industry, and I am energized by the opportunity to help the firm continue on its trajectory and further contribute to its growth and success.”
