Benesch is pleased to announce that the firm has advanced another 10 spots on the Am Law 200—its second consecutive year doing so—rising to #127 from #137 in 2024. The jump ties Benesch for the third-largest ranking increase among all firms on the 2025 Am Law 200 list.

Since debuting on the list in 2016, Benesch has climbed an impressive 68 places. This year’s ranking reflects the firm’s continued upward trajectory, marked by a 28.2% increase in gross revenue over the previous year. The firm’s steady climb on the Am Law 200 is the result of deliberate investment in talent, client service and national growth.

The Am Law 200 is the definitive ranking of the second-hundred-largest U.S. law firms by gross revenue and is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious industry benchmarks. The report provides detailed firm-by-firm analysis on key financial metrics, including revenue, profits, headcount growth and per-lawyer performance.

“Benesch’s continued recognition on the Am Law 200 is a testament to our strategic vision, sustained growth and unwavering commitment to our clients,” said Managing Partner Gregg Eisenberg. “I’m incredibly proud of the team at Benesch and what we’re building together. To climb 68 spots in just nine years is a powerful indicator of the momentum we’ve created and the confidence our clients have in our ability to deliver results.”

Benesch has established itself as one of the nation’s fastest-growing business law firms, with a rapidly expanding footprint in key markets such as Chicago, San Francisco and New York. With remarkable success in attracting top-tier talent, primarily from BigLaw, the firm has grown its bench to more than 450 attorneys.
