Benesch Named Among 2025 Top 40 Summer Associate Programs by The American Lawyer
October 13, 2025
Benesch is pleased to announce that it has been ranked among the top 40 law firm summer associate programs nationwide by The American Lawyer (ALM). The rankings are based on survey responses from nearly 3,000 summer associates at leading law firms across the country, underscoring Benesch’s commitment to creating meaningful experiences for law students and providing a dynamic environment where aspiring legal professionals can thrive.
This recognition is especially noteworthy because it reflects direct feedback from Benesch’s own summer associates, who rated the firm on criteria including attorney engagement, quality of work, training and overall satisfaction. The firm earned an average score of 4.679 out of 5.0, based on responses from 44 participants.
“Our summer associate program is designed to be a launching point for meaningful careers,” said Chief Talent Officer Lauren Tapper. “We want our summer associates to leave with both practical experience and the confidence to grow into future leaders of the profession. Knowing they gained that at Benesch is incredibly rewarding.”
This honor follows the firm’s recognition in the 2026 Vault Law rankings, where Benesch placed #5 overall for the Best Summer Associate Program, #3 for Career Development, #7 for Social Experiences and #13 for Attorney Interactions.
