Benesch Partner Jonathan Todd Quoted in Anti-Corruption Report on Export Controls and Trade Compliance

Jonathan Todd, co-lead of Benesch’s Transportation & Logistics Practice Group, was recently quoted in Anti-Corruption Report regarding the fundamentals of trade controls and their growing significance for compliance professionals.

In the article, Jonathan discusses how export controls differ from sanctions and the role they play in regulating the transfer of goods, technology and information across borders.

“Unlike sanctions, which bar or limit transactions with specific nations, companies or people, export controls target the movement of controlled goods and technology outside the United States,” Jonathan said.
