Benesch Partner Kevin Margolis Named to 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Environmental Lawyers

Kevin has served in multiple leadership roles at Benesch, including Hiring Partner, the firm’s first Integration Partner, Pro Bono Partner and Firm Practice Group Leader. He chaired the Real Estate & Environmental Practice Group for 12 years and served on the firm’s Executive Committee for 15 years, through 2023.
With decades of experience in environmental law, Kevin focuses his practice on the environmental aspects of corporate, commercial lending and real estate transactions. He regularly advises clients on environmental risk management in complex business and finance matters, helping organizations navigate liability concerns, due diligence and compliance strategies. In addition to his transactional work, Kevin manages environmental enforcement and litigation matters and provides ongoing counseling on federal, state and local regulatory issues. Recognized for his leadership in the field, Kevin was elected as a fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, reflecting his significant contributions to environmental and real estate law.
