Benesch Partner Michael D. Stovsky Named to 2023 Class of Cleveland Jewish News Difference Makers
October 6, 2023
Benesch is pleased to announce that Partner Michael D. Stovsky has been selected as one of 18 individuals named to the ninth annual class of Cleveland Jewish News 18 Difference Makers.
The 2023 Difference Makers come from diverse backgrounds with unique and inspiring stories. According to Cleveland Jewish News, they were chosen because they embody the spirit of tikkun olam – the Jewish concept of repairing the world – and have not only embraced this concept but have lived it through their actions and dedication to improving the lives of others. “This year’s honorees stories are a testament to the power of compassion, perseverance, and the belief that one person can make a significant difference in our community in Northeast Ohio and beyond,” the publication noted.
Mike leads Benesch’s Intellectual Property, Technology Deals, Data Privacy & Cybersecurity, and Blockchain and Smart Contracts practices. He has nearly three decades of experience representing technology companies from start-up to growth stage, middle market to Fortune 50, as well as major regional and national venture capital and private equity funds and their portfolio companies, and as lead outside counsel on technology transactions, intellectual property, privacy and data security, CIPP/US, GDPR DPO, and Metaverse law.
Mike is civically involved as a member of the Anti-Defamation League National Commission and serves on the Board of Trustees for the ADL’s Ohio region. In addition, Mike is a member of several committees with the Jewish Federation of Cleveland and sits on the Board of Trustees for Friendship Circle of Cleveland.
Mike will be recognized along with the rest of this year’s Difference Makers at an awards ceremony November 30 at Park Synagogue in Pepper Pike.
