Benesch’s Gregg Eisenberg, Managing Partner, and Ira Kaplan, Partner, Recognized in Cleveland Magazine’s 2024 ‘Cleveland 500’ List

Benesch is pleased to announce that Managing Partner Gregg Eisenberg and Partner Ira Kaplan have been selected among Cleveland Magazine’s “Cleveland 500” honorees for 2024, earning a spot on the Law list. Profiling leaders from all facets of the business, professional, education, entertainment and technology sectors, The Cleveland 500 features leaders, doers, visionaries and idea generators who are helping to shape the city of Cleveland.
Gregg has served as Benesch’s Managing Partner since 2015. Under his leadership, Benesch has experienced substantial growth, opened offices in Chicago, New York City and San Francisco, and advanced in the Am Law 200 rankings yearly since debuting on the list in 2016, where the firm is currently ranked 147. Gregg is a corporate attorney whose active practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions as well as public and private debt and equity financings. He represents both publicly and privately held companies at various stages of growth.
Ira focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, as well as public and private debt and equity financings. Ira represents both publicly and privately held companies at various stages of growth. He has been involved in planning for growth companies, helping to position them for growth and liquidity. Ira also represents private equity, subordinated debt and venture funds, as well as portfolio companies of such funds. Ira is the firm’s Executive Chairman and serves as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
