Benesch’s Megan Mehalko Named to Crain’s Cleveland 2026 Notable Women in Law List

This prestigious recognition celebrates women attorneys in Northeast Ohio who demonstrate legal excellence, leadership, mentorship and a commitment to their communities.

As a trusted advisor to public and private companies, private equity funds and global enterprises, Megan is known for her deep experience in mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, securities law, and corporate governance. Megan’s business acumen, legal proficiency and commitment to client service have made her a go-to counsel for industry-leading clients worldwide.

Megan has also been ranked by Chambers as a Leading Lawyer in Corporate/M&A since 2010 and was honored as a Distinguished Nominee by the Global M&A Network for Women Leaders & Top Dealmakers in M&A in 2020. Beyond her legal practice, Megan is actively involved in the community, serving on the boards of Business Volunteers Unlimited, College Now Greater Cleveland and Laurel School, where she is past chair of the Board of Trustees.
