Benesch is pleased to announce that international tax lawyer Christina Santana Hammervold has joined the firm’s Chicago office as an associate in the International Private Client group.
Christina has extensive experience in advising high-net-worth families, family offices, trustees and the financial services firms that serve them in matters relating to international and domestic tax planning, management of global reporting obligations (e.g., FATCA and CRS), direct investing and acquisitions and divestitures. Well-versed in the complex cultural, legal, tax and business challenges posed by cross-border planning, she has worked with clients in every corner of the world, including Latin American, Europe, Canada, the Middle East, Africa, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia and, of course, the United States.
Christina received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2012 and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Miami University in 2009.
