Benesch is pleased to announce that Trevor Covey and Laura Kogan have joined the firm.
Trevor Covey has joined the firm as an associate in the Litigation Practice Group. He counsels and defends clients in a wide array of complex litigation matters, regularly briefing and arguing before state and federal courts and arbitration tribunals. Prior to joining Benesch, Mr. Covey worked at a prominent international law firm where he focused his practice on complex commercial, environmental tort, mass tort, and product liability cases at both trial and appellate levels. He received his J.D. from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law in 2009 and his B.A. University of Minnesota in 2006, magna cum laude.
Laura Kogan has joined the firm as an associate in the Litigation Practice Group. She advises clients and litigates a variety of contested matters on behalf of both individuals and businesses of all sizes. Ms. Kogan also served as a federal judicial law clerk for the Honorable Benita Y. Pearson, United States District Judge for the Northern District of Ohio from 2010 to 2012. She received her J.D. from Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, cum laude, in 2010 and her B.S. from Ohio University in 2006, magna cum laude.
