Ira and Amy Kaplan Featured in Cleveland Jewish News for Receiving ORT America Ohio Region’s 2025 Maimonides Award

Benesch Executive Chairman Ira Kaplan and his wife, Amy Kaplan, were officially presented with the ORT America Ohio Region’s 2025 Maimonides Award for their long-standing philanthropic service to the Jewish and Greater Cleveland communities. The award was conferred at the organization’s annual brunch on October 19 at Beechmont Country Club.
In accepting the honor, Amy said, “We never really considered ourselves worthy of this type of award, but we are deeply honored. Whatever modest contributions Ira and I have been able to make to our Jewish and Greater Cleveland communities, the truth is we’ve gained so much more.”
Ira also noted, “To be recognized by an organization with such a profound and far-reaching mission, one rooted in education, empowerment and Jewish values, is deeply meaningful to both of us.”
