Joe Gross Elected Vice President of Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association

Benesch is pleased to announce that Joe Gross, a partner in the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group, has been elected Vice President of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA) for 2018-2019. He will serve a one-year term, which became effective in June 2018.
Joe has been a member of the CMBA for over 25 years and has held numerous positions during that time. Joe is currently on the CMBA’s ethics and professionalism, membership, fee dispute, and fiscal policy committees. He is also a past chair of the CMBA’s certified grievance and ethics and professionalism committee. He also has been active on the CMBA’s board of trustees including a 3-year stint as its treasurer.
Joe is an OSBA Board Certified Specialist in Labor & Employment Law and focuses his practice on a variety of labor and employment matters, including workers’ compensation defense. Before becoming an attorney, Joe spent 18 years in the steel industry, working in several management areas, including industrial engineering, accounting, finance, and strategic planning. Joe frequently speaks on the topics of labor and employment, workers’ compensation, and legal professionalism and ethics.
