Margolis Elected as Fellow to American College of Real Estate Lawyers

Benesch is pleased to announce that Kevin D. Margolis has been elected as a Fellow to the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL).
ACREL is a prestigious and highly-selective national organization of real estate attorneys recognized for their skill, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct. ACREL’s objectives include promoting high standards of professional and ethical responsibility in the practice of real estate law; seeking to improve real estate law and practice; making available to the bar and to the public authoritative educational materials in the field of real estate law; informing the membership of the most current developments in real estate law and practice; and cooperating and consulting with national, state and local bar organizations, government agencies and other groups which have an interest in real estate law and practice.
Mr. Margolis is Chair of the firm’s Real Estate & Environmental Practice Group, Co-Chair of the Energy Practice Group and a member of Benesch’s Executive Committee. He focuses his practice on the environmental aspects of real estate transactions, distressed property, business transactions, construction and commercial lending and real estate finance matters. A significant portion of his practice involves the re-development and environmental remediation of brownfield sites.
