Benesch is pleased to announce that Michael R. Beer has joined the firm as an associate in the firm’s Commercial Finance & Banking Practice Group.
Michael represents banks, other financial institutions, and borrowers in connection with commercial lending and finance transactions. He has experience drafting compliance policies, conducting due diligence on private equity, venture capital, and family office transactions and advises clients on industry best practices. Prior to joining Benesch, Michael advised multiple financial institutions on regulatory compliance matters, including matters relating to the Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Acts, Security and Exchange Acts, USA PATRIOT Act, and other financial issues.
Michael received his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2014 and his B.S. from Denison University in 2017.
