Swearengen Appointed to Board of Directors of Downtown Cleveland Alliance

Benesch is pleased to announce that Michael K. Swearengen has been appointed to the board of directors of Downtown Cleveland Alliance. Mr. Swearengen will begin his board duties on May 20, 2010.
Downtown Cleveland Alliance is a not-for-profit organization committed to making downtown Cleveland the most compelling place to live, work, play and visit in the region. Downtown Cleveland Alliance works with downtown property owners to create forums for communication and involvement by a diverse group of downtown stakeholders. Downtown Cleveland Alliance strives to enhance the quality of life in the urban core by implementing initiatives such as the Clean & Safe Program, economic development assistance, and marketing and special events.
Mr. Swearengen is a partner with the firm’s Real Estate & Environmental Practice Group. His practice focuses on all aspects of real estate law, including development, the purchase and sale of commercial properties, leasing, financing, construction, and real estate loan workouts.
