Ashley advises clients on their transactional and regulatory needs in transportation, logistics, supply chain and international trade matters. Those clients include shippers, transportation intermediaries, and carriers. She represents clients in contract drafting and negotiations, regulatory compliance guidance, business operation counsel and strategic support for mergers and acquisitions.
Ashley has also given clients regulatory guidance for transportation and international trade matters involving freight forwarders, ocean transportation intermediaries, air carriers, HTS code classifications, sanctions and embargoes. Specifically, Ashley has helped clients navigate complex export, import and export control regulations. She has also conducted regulatory review of matters involving shippers and brokers including cargo liability. Ashley represented clients in mergers and acquisitions transactions involving transportation and international trade operations. She also assisted in developing robust compliance programs for companies.
