Carlo focuses his practice on general commercial litigation and complex business litigation, and is also a part of Benesch’s Retail & E-Commerce practice group.
Prior to joining Benesch, Carlo worked several years as a paralegal at a prominent plaintiff’s litigation firm in the Bay Area, where he worked on high profile, multi-party complex lawsuits pertaining to a range of antitrust and consumer protection issues.
Carlo received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law, where he served as the vice president of the Texas Real Estate Law Society and the Development Articles Editor for the Texas Environmental Law Journal. As a staff member of the journal, he published an article addressing recent advancements in water rights and regulation. Throughout law school, Carlo also worked as a legal intern at a startup company in the emerging ghost kitchen industry.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Pitzer College, graduating with honors, and previously interned in the United States Senate.
