Overview
Daniel represents private equity sponsors, independent sponsors, portfolio companies, and founder-owned businesses in mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations, and general corporate matters. His practice focuses on middle market and lower middle market transactions, including platform acquisitions, add-on acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, carve-outs, and founder liquidity events.
Daniel regularly advises sponsors and portfolio companies pursuing acquisition-driven growth strategies, with significant experience supporting buy-and-build platforms across fragmented industries. He has represented clients in a range of sectors, with particular depth in industrials and manufacturing, engineering and technical services, and healthcare services businesses. In addition to sponsor-side work, Daniel has represented sellers and founder-owned companies in sales and recapitalizations, giving him firsthand perspective on both sides of the transaction table.
Prior to his legal career, Daniel served as an infantry Marine in the United States Marine Corps, completing two combat deployments to Afghanistan.
