Emma focuses her practice on high-stakes litigation, consumer class actions, trade secret matters and breach of contract disputes in both state and federal court, as well as various arbitration forums. Emma brings her attention to detail, willingness to learn and tireless dedication to each team she joins.
Emma has experience drafting motions, conducting key legal research and assisting in several stages of discovery. She also has specialized experience advising clients on a range of retail and e-commerce issues, including defending against FAL and ROSCA claims and drafting auto-renewal policies for some of the country’s most well-known retailers.
In addition to her commercial practice, Emma proudly maintains an active pro bono practice. She has represented clients in Section 1983 civil rights cases and asylum matters.
Emma has a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. While in law school, she was a member of the Federal Litigation Clinic, representing clients in federal court, defending against a wide range of criminal charges and preparing them for court appearances. In recognition of her commitment to pro bono and community service, she received the Archibald M. Murray Public Service Award for completing over 250 hours of service.
Prior to law school, Emma was a paralegal at the New York District Attorney’s Office, where she worked in the courtroom, assisting judges and clerks with filings and supporting attorneys during proceedings.
