George focuses his practice on public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and matters that relate to corporate boards of directors. He has extensive experience in Securities and Exchange Commission enforcement defense and in regulatory matters relating to the gaming industry.

George served as a member of the advisory board of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee's Shareholder Rights Subcommittee. He serves as a Trustee on the Case Western Reserve University Board of Trustees and the Board's Development Committee. He is a member of the Case Western Reserve's Law School Society of Benchers. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of The Cleveland Orchestra (Musical Arts Association).

George is a recipient of the 1994 Centennial Medal, the highest award granted by Case Western Reserve University Law School to a graduate. He finished first in Ohio in the 1958 Bar Exam.

George has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® numerous times. Because Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which 16,000 leading attorneys throughout the country cast more than a half million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their specialties, and because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor.
