Overview

Karlye focuses her practice on regulatory and transactional matters within the healthcare industry. Her experience includes assisting with research related to the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and state and federal licensing and ownership requirements for a variety of healthcare providers and organizations. She has contributed to due diligence efforts on both buy-side and sell-side mergers, acquisitions and loan transactions.

Karlye also assists clients in responding to federal and state audits and investigations, including those conducted by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Additionally, she has supported legal matters involving non-compete research and has provided pro bono assistance to nonprofit organizations on advanced healthcare directives.
