Meredith focuses on litigation and employment matters. She supports ongoing cases by assisting with motion practice and discovery, including legal research, drafting motions and oppositions, preparing discovery requests and responses and conducting document reviews. Meredith has also contributed to drafting a motion for summary judgment.
In addition, Meredith works on client counseling matters, performing legal research and preparing memos and client communications on employment-related issues, including employment and termination agreements.
Before joining Benesch, Meredith gained experience in advocacy and client-focused work. She served as a Second-Level MSW Mitigation Intern with the Federal Defender Program in Chicago, preparing mitigation and social history reports, conducting client interviews, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to support pre-trial negotiation and sentencing advocacy. She also served as a certified mediator with the Center for Conflict Resolution, where she independently mediated cases involving evictions, small claims, and other civil disputes.
Meredith’s broader professional background spans community engagement and program management, including managing family resource centers, coordinating educational and enrichment programs and supporting nonprofit operations both in the U.S. and abroad. Her diverse experience enhances her collaborative approach to client service and problem-solving in the legal field.
