Overview
PJ represents clients in complex civil litigation matters in state and federal courts and advises clients facing criminal and regulatory investigations.
PJ has experience in all stages of pretrial litigation, such as fact investigation, discovery, deposition preparation, motion practice, and trial preparation. He has handled a wide variety of matters including commercial contracts disputes, business torts, internal investigations, white collar defense, shareholder derivative lawsuits, multidistrict litigation, antitrust investigations, compliance counseling, and health care fraud investigations. PJ also has experience litigating and arguing appeals in Federal Circuit Court. PJ is a skilled investigator with extensive experience conducting internal investigations.
PJ serves on the Board of the Federal Bar Association for the Northern District of Ohio as the CLE Chair. He also volunteers as a JD Ambassador for Service to School, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping veterans transition from active-duty service to higher education opportunities. PJ has over seventeen years of combined service in the United States Army and United States Army Reserve as a commissioned officer. Before being admitted to practice law, PJ served on active duty for eight years and currently serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve. His experience as a commissioned officer has honed his leadership and problem-solving skills across a wide range of complex problem sets.
