Overview

Robert Stalzer focuses his practice on structured finance, securitization, securities and corporate matters. He represents issuers, sponsors, mortgage loan sellers, investors and other market participants in sophisticated real estate debt transactions, helping clients structure, negotiate and execute financing solutions that support a broad range of business and investment objectives.

Rob advises clients on a variety of structured finance and capital markets transactions involving commercial real estate assets and financing structures. His experience includes commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) transactions, CRE CLOs, securitizations, warehouse lending facilities, real estate debt transactions, capital markets financings and other bespoke financing arrangements designed to address complex investment and capital needs.

He works with lenders, investors and sponsors across the financing lifecycle, helping them evaluate opportunities, structure transactions and access capital through innovative financing solutions. Rob’s practice includes advising clients on transactions involving commercial mortgage loans, SASB loan originations, structured credit products, secondary market transactions, SBA and USDA loans, and other real estate-related financing vehicles.

Rob also has experience advising clients on cross-border structured credit transactions and emerging financing structures. His work includes matters involving real estate securitizations, Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) financings, capital markets transactions and other sophisticated debt structures, as well as transactions involving receivables and equipment financing.
