Samson is an associate in Benesch’s Litigation group, where he is focused on developing his proficiency in commercial litigation and defamation lawsuits. Samson brings a unique perspective to his legal practice, having spent eight years as an educator in Chicago Public Schools before pursuing a career in law. Motivated by a love of learning, problem solving, and a deep interest in justice, Samson is committed to making a meaningful impact for his clients.
During law school, Samson distinguished himself as a leader and advocate. He served as President of Emory OUTLaw, the LGBT Bar association at Emory Law, and of the Emory Chapter of the American Constitution Society. Samson gained valuable experience as an extern for the Honorable Judge Steven D. Grimberg of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and as a competitor in the Miller National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition with the Emory Moot Court Society. He also spent a semester working in the Policy Clinic at Barton Child Law and Policy Center.
Samson’s background as an educator has honed his critical thinking, adaptability, and communication skills. He is adept at presenting complex litigation issues in a clear and accessible manner, and is experienced in conflict resolution and team leadership.
