Scott brings more than 20 years of experience as a law firm management professional focused on law firm strategy, economics, and governance.
Prior to joining Benesch, Scott was a partner at Hoffman Alvary & Company in their Law Firm Consulting Group. In his practice, he worked with top law firms across the country on strategic positioning and planning, law firm combinations, partner compensation, succession planning, pricing and profitability, associate progression and development, and other significant strategic objectives. Scott began his career in the Washington, DC office of Akin Gump, where he spent five years working on strategic initiatives, including economic improvement, firm expansion, pricing and profitability, and special projects for firm leadership.
Scott is known nationally as a strategic thinker in the legal industry, regularly speaking to organizations interested in trends within the legal profession including the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) and the Legal Marketing Association (LMA).
