Benesch Chicago Labor & Employment Attorneys Appointed to Leadership Roles in Prominent Women Lawyers’ Association

Benesch is pleased to announce that Emily Fess, an associate in Benesch’s Chicago Labor & Employment Practice Group, has been named Co-Chair of Community Outreach and Jessica Winski, a partner in Benesch’s Chicago Employee Benefits Practice Group, has been named Co-Chair of Programming for the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law, Chicago.
The Coalition is a nonprofit membership association that brings together law firms, government, and companies of all sizes. Founded in Chicago in 2008, the Coalition has extended its reach and grown to include a second chapter in New York. Currently, more than 120 law firms and companies are members of the Coalition. Their goal is to foster career advancement and professional development, promote dialogue and a support-network among members, and to help address the many issues facing women lawyers and women’s initiatives today.
The Coalition offers over 20 programs a year including CLE events for attorneys and educational programs for law students. Their annual leadership forum is one of the largest women lawyer events in Chicago every year.

Jessica Winski is a partner in the Chicago Executive Compensation & Benefits Practice Group and counsels employers on all aspects of employee benefits law, focusing on the design, administration and legal compliance of retirement plans and health and welfare benefit plans.
