Benesch Named to 2025 List of Most Loved Workplaces in America

Press Releases

Benesch ranked #88 among the top 100 U.S. companies recognized for culture, employee growth and retention. This marks the third year in a row the firm has been named to the list.

Benesch is proud to again be recognized among America’s Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces®–the only law firm to earn a spot on the list. Published in the Wall Street Journal, the 2025 rankings honor 100 organizations across industries that are transforming employee experience and redefining what it means to build a thriving workplace.

The 2025 Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces® are the result of a partnership with leadership development and benchmark research company Best Practice Institute (BPI). The rankings are based on surveys of more than 2.8 million employees nationwide, across companies of all sizes and industries. Hundreds of executives were also interviewed to provide insight into each company’s culture, leadership and strategy.

In addition to its place on the Top 100 list, Benesch received 15 other distinctions from BPI, including:

    • Top Most Loved Workplaces® for Wellness
    • Top Most Loved Workplaces® for Inclusivity
    • Top Most Loved Workplaces® for Young Professionals
    • Top Most Loved Workplaces® for Career Advancement
    • Top Most Loved Workplaces® for Parents and Caregivers
    • Top Most Loved Workplaces® for Mental Health
    • Top Most Loved Workplaces® for Volunteering
    • Top Most Loved Workplaces® for Women

“This recognition reaffirms that Benesch is a place where everyone can thrive, and it speaks to what we have intentionally built together,” said Chief Human Resources Officer Liz Gillmore. “This is a special community where our people feel valued, celebrated and supported. Together, we’re continuing to make Benesch an extraordinary place to work.”

Among the benefits Benesch offers to employees are parental leave of up to 26 weeks (20 paid), fertility benefits (up to $50,000) and out-of-state medical travel reimbursement benefit of up to $5,000 covering room and board, mileage or other transportation, childcare and meals. Other benefits offered by Benesch include a flexible hybrid work model, mental health support through Lyra, childcare support and a pet insurance benefit.

“Investing in our people is truly the key to our success as a firm,” said Managing Partner Gregg Eisenberg. “At Benesch, we know that fostering an exceptional workplace culture doesn’t just benefit our team; it also translates into top-tier service for our clients. This continued recognition as a Top 100 Most Loved Workplace® reaffirms our commitment to creating an environment where our people feel valued and thrive.”

Research was conducted by BPI using the proprietary Love of Workplace Index® and advanced sentiment analysis. This methodology captures how employees truly experience their workplace, measuring:

    • Emotional connection
    • Collaboration
    • Respect
    • Alignment of values
    • Achievement

“While many U.S. companies compete with signing bonuses, unlimited PTO and remote-work perks, our annual America’s Most Loved Workplaces® ranking tells a different story,” noted BPI Founder and CEO Louis Carter. “The organizations that consistently attract and retain top talent offer those same baseline benefits—but that’s just the start. They go further, moving beyond transactional perks to create transformational experiences that set them apart. At their core, these companies embrace a distinct principle: When you invest in people’s growth, they invest back—and they stay longer.”
