Benesch Partner Christopher Grohman is representing Prime Healthcare in ongoing settlement discussions with the Kankakee County State’s Attorney’s Office following recent legal filings concerning service reductions at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee.

During a court hearing on June 16, both parties agreed to a 30-day pause on any additional service changes at the facility to allow time for negotiations. A follow-up court date is scheduled for July 21 to provide a status update.
