Transport Investments Recapitalized with Revelstoke Capital Partners

Press Releases

Benesch represented Transport Investments, a Pittsburgh-based asset-light transportation and logistics company, in its sale to Revelstoke Capital Partners, a Denver-based private equity firm.

Transportation Investments focuses on providing flatbed, drop-deck, specialized and heavy-haul trucking and brokerage services in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. The company transports or arranges transport of heavy and over-dimensional freight for large and high growth end markets serving the energy, infrastructure, manufacturing and industrial sectors. Transport Investments has been consistently ranked by industry publications in the top 12 flatbed and heavy specialized trucking companies in the U.S. and handles nearly 100,000 loads annually through its extensive fleet of owner-operators, drive-away contractors, and approved third party carriers.

Revelstoke sponsored a subordinated debt and equity investment in Transport Investments. Transport Investments is aggressively seeking acquisitions of trucking and logistics companies as a platform for new private equity investers.

The Benesch team was led by Joe Tegreene and included Rick Tracanna, Corey Sparks, Rich Plewacki, Joe Gross and Jeff Kosc.
