Not-for-profit organizations are assisted by our team in all facets of real property related matters. Such representation includes advising not-for-profits, including colleges, schools, social service providers, advocacy groups and religious organizations, with respect to real estate development and redevelopment issues, acquisitions, sales and financing. In addition, Benesch's Not-for-Profit Team provides counsel on leasing, environmental and land use matters, as well as real property taxation issues. Several recent real estate projects successfully completed for our not-for-profit clients include the acquisition, bond financing and construction of a new private school facility; the sale and long-term leaseback of a religious facility; the purchase and financing of a new headquarters building; and the acquisition of 1,000 parcels of land and a nature preserve for a national university's campus.
