This workshop will provide a practical guide for identifying and resolving thorny title issues that may be encountered in shopping center and retail store acquisitions and dispositions.   For beginners, basic title insurance concepts and commonly requested endorsements will be discussed. For the more advanced practitioner, topics will also include considerations when negotiating purchase and sale agreements, anticipating title issues in advance of closing and how to handle last minute title “emergencies.”
