Bankruptcy Committee of Philadelphia Bar Wins “Committee of the Year Award” for Second Consecutive Year

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA – January 22, 2008 – Benesch is pleased to announce that under the Chairmanship of partner Bradford J. Sandler, the Bankruptcy Committee for the Business Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association has been named the “Committee of the Year” for the second consecutive year.
Criteria for the “Committee of the Year Award” is based on a vote by the Executive Committee of the Business Law Section. With more than 17 active committees in the Section, it is a great honor for the Bankruptcy Committee to achieve this distinction for a second consecutive year. The Committee will be recognized for the award at the Business Law Section’s Annual Reception on January 27, 2009.
Mr. Sandler is a partner in the firm’s Business Reorganization Practice Group and is a member of the Diversity Committee. He has substantial experience in the representation of businesses in out of court reorganizations, and of debtors, creditors’ committees, secured and unsecured creditors, purchasers, landlords, Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 trustees and post-confirmation plan administrators in business bankruptcies. Mr. Sandler also focuses on, and has substantial experience in, representing international and national businesses as well as entrepreneurs in corporate and commercial transactions.
