Benesch Adds Attorney In Shanghai Office – New Office Location

SHANGHAI, CHINA – Lianzhong Pan has joined the Shanghai Law Office of Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP as Of Counsel.He focuses his practice on international trade and investment, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, as well as counseling clients on employment, real estate and other day-to-day business matters.
Mr. Pan is experienced in helping American companies enter the Chinese market. He counsels companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions of Chinese companies, Chinese real estate development projects and the formation of foreign-invested enterprises in China.
Mr. Pan has drafted and negotiated contracts for major import and export companies. He has also assisted such companies in business financing projects and in negotiation, litigation and arbitration matters.
Mr. Pan is fluent in both English and Mandarin.He practiced law in China for seven years before earning his U.S. LLM law degree from University of Texas Law School and being admitted as a member of the New York bar.He joins Yanping Wang, Partner-in-Charge of the Benesch Shanghai law office.
In addition, Benesch is expanding its presence in Shanghai, recently having leased 1,900 sq. ft. in the Kerry Centre.The new office space is expected to open its doors in October.The new address is:
