Benesch welcomes Jamie N. Ward as an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group in Chicago.
Jamie represents clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts. She has diverse litigation experience including briefing and motions practice, offensive and defensive discovery, taking and defending depositions, and the evaluation, development, and preparation of fact and expert witnesses.
Jamie maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing habeas petitioners in federal district and appellate courts, and representing refugees seeking asylum both in immigration court and before the Board of Immigration Appeals. She received her B.A. from University of California and her J.D. from University of Illinois College of Law.
Jamie is one of over 50 new attorneys to join Benesch so far in 2021. Since making its debut on the AmLaw 200 list in 2016, Benesch has advanced 32 places and is currently ranked at number 164.
