Meluney is a veteran of both trial and appellate courts at the state and federal level. His practice encompasses the full range of complex litigation, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, business divorce, partnership disputes, and securities fraud. Sean also represents employers and employees in expedited matters relating to the enforcement of restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and contractual non-competition provisions, as well as matters including wage and hour, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, breach of contract, unfair competition and wrongful termination claims.
“Sean is an outstanding attorney, and we welcome him to Benesch,” said Joseph Castrodale, Chair of the Litigation Practice Group, Vice Chairman of the Firm and Executive Committee Member. “His wide-ranging experience in a variety of areas will help the firm be able to provide our clients with creative solutions to complex business issues.”
Harmon has experience handling all aspects of complex commercial litigation, corporate litigation, bankruptcy litigation, corporate governance, entity formation, non-profit representation, insurance coverage disputes, compliance and intellectual property matters across various state and federal courts.
“We are very pleased to have Kate joining the firm,” said J. Erik Connolly, Vice Chair of the Litigation Practice Group. “In growing our litigation practice, we are focused on working with our clients to achieve cost-effective resolutions to conflicts, whether in the courtroom, or through arbitration or settlement. Kate is a great resource for supporting our clients with smart and creative solutions to address the complex issues faced by their businesses.”
The addition of Meluney and Harmon to the firm’s Wilmington office is part of Benesch’s national growth strategy. The firm continues to build its presence in Chicago and San Francisco, as well.
