Benesch Advises American Equipment Holdings LLC and Kanawha Scales & Systems in Sale to Investcorp

Benesch is pleased to announce its role as legal counsel to American Equipment Holdings LLC, a Rotunda Capital portfolio company, in the sale of its weighing division, Kanawha Scales & Systems, LLC (“KSS”), to an affiliate of Investcorp.
KSS delivers industry-leading weighing calibration, repair services, and automation solutions that keep mission-critical operations running seamlessly. With regulatory standards tightening and automation usage expanding, demand for KSS’s capabilities continues to grow across multiple end markets.
Benesch advised American Equipment Holdings across all aspects of the transaction, including corporate/M&A, tax, employment, benefits, real estate, environmental, and intellectual property, matters. The firm supported deal structuring, negotiation, and operational carve-out considerations.
