Benesch Advises Cleveland Dental Management in Acquisition of Aurora Dental, Expanding Regional Network

Benesch is pleased to announce its role in advising Cleveland Dental Management (CDM) on the successful acquisition of Aurora Dental, marking the eleventh practice in the company’s growing network across the Cleveland, Akron and Pittsburgh communities. The transaction was led by Ira C. Kaplan, Executive Chairman of Benesch and a partner in the firm’s Corporate Practice Group.

This acquisition represents CDM’s first expansion since 2021 and underscores the organization’s commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered dental care throughout the region. Aurora Dental, owned by Dr. Russ Caputo, will now operate as Dental Group of Aurora. In the coming year, the practice will also relocate to a new, state-of-the-art 20-chair facility, further enhancing its ability to serve the community and meet the growing demand for comprehensive dental services.
