Benesch attorneys Jennifer Hoover, Andrew Kinsey, Nicholas Secco, Alyssa Moscarino and Abbey Walsh were mentioned again in Law360 for their ongoing representation of Professional Bull Riders (PBR) in the Chapter 11 proceedings of Merit Street Media, the media company co-founded by Phil McGraw (Dr. Phil).
In the latest development, Merit Street announced it had reached a settlement in principle with its unsecured creditors committee and Peteski Productions Inc. to provide additional unsecured funding and support recoveries for creditors. The agreement is expected to fund operations and Chapter 11 expenses, while PBR’s $181.4 million claim continues to play a central role in the case.
