Benesch Continues Corporate Practice Group Expansion

Benesch is proud to announce the continued growth of its Corporate Practice Group, which has welcomed 10 new attorneys since October 2025, with four joining in the past month alone. Driven by the firm’s strategic expansion in private equity and M&A, as well as increasing demand for sophisticated transactional work, the group, co-chaired by Douglas DiMedio, Megan Mehalko, Kevin Humphries and Geoffrey Rahie, continues to expand in both size and capabilities. With more than 100 attorneys across five offices, the Corporate Group is the firm’s second-largest practice group.

Recent lateral additions include Partner Terri Taibl Soni in Chicago, Partner Robert Ward in Columbus, and Of Counsel Nicholas Brill and Associate Margaret Ahern in Cleveland. Partner Neeta Sahadev, who will be based in San Francisco, is also set to join the group at the end of March.

Collectively, these attorneys further strengthen the team’s capabilities in private equity-driven M&A and strategic corporate transactions. The group advises clients throughout the entire lifecycle of their investments, from initial structuring and acquisition to day-to-day legal matters and eventual exit, serving as true partners as clients scale. Their diverse experience aligns well with the group’s continued focus on serving an increasingly sophisticated client base.
