Benesch Named an Ohio Women’s Bar Association 2010 “Family Friendly Award” Finalist

Benesch is pleased to announce that the firm was named an Ohio Women’s Bar Association (OWBA) 2010 Family Friendly Award finalist.

OWBA is at the forefront of a profession-wide effort to promote meaningful alternative work arrangements in both private and public practice. Established in 2003, the Family Friendly Award honors those legal employers in Ohio that best exemplify a commitment to work-life balance arrangements, and assure that lawyers can take care of their families and still pursue a successful career. Benesch was honored as a finalist during OWBA’s annual meeting and award ceremony luncheon in Columbus on May 12.

OWBA recognizes that Benesch demonstrates a strong commitment to supporting a work-life balance for all attorneys and staff. The firm offers its attorneys flexible work schedules, parental leave, full benefits and mentoring programs. Currently, women attorneys serve as the chairs of three practice groups and women chair Benesch’s Diversity Committee and Professional Development Committee.
