Benesch Partner Megan Mehalko Honored as a 2025 BTI Client Service All-Star
August 21, 2025
Benesch is pleased to announce that Megan Mehalko, co-chair of the firm’s Corporate Practice Group, has been named to BTI’s 2025 Client Service All-Stars list. This prestigious recognition is widely regarded as the gold standard for identifying attorneys who deliver the highest levels of client service.
BTI’s list is based solely on direct feedback from corporate counsel. As part of its Annual Survey of General Counsel, BTI conducted more than 300 in-depth telephone interviews with top legal decision makers at organizations with more than $700 million in revenue between April 2024 and March 2025. Honorees are named by clients for consistently going above and beyond to provide exceptional service.
Attorneys selected to this list are recognized for their ability to anticipate needs, offer strategic and innovative ideas, provide concise and unequivocal guidance, and deliver proactive, forward-thinking counsel. The award is widely viewed as one of the most meaningful and sought-after distinctions in the legal industry.
Megan’s inclusion on this list is especially meaningful in a year when Benesch became the first and only law firm ever to receive the 2025 Gold Excellence in Client Experience (CX) Award from ClientSavvy. This national honor reflects the firm’s deep commitment to delivering exceptional client service and fostering strong, trusted relationships, which are standards Megan embodies in her daily work.
When asked by BTI about her client service philosophy, Megan shared:
“I strive to act as a business partner to our clients, learning each client’s business and priorities so I can provide legal advice that aligns with their goals. I truly love what I do—being a valued member of a client’s team is incredibly rewarding. I believe that genuine care and accessibility form the foundation of a successful, trusted client relationship.”
Megan is a distinguished law firm leader and trusted business advisor. As co-chair of Benesch’s Corporate Practice Group, she regularly leads groundbreaking, high-stakes and game-changing mergers, acquisitions, cross-border joint ventures and strategic alliances, and frequently advises on securities law matters, corporate governance and ESG initiatives.
Megan represents a diverse clientele that includes public and private companies in the manufacturing, healthcare, specialty chemicals, plastics, rubber and consumer products industries, as well as private equity funds and their portfolio companies. Highly regarded for her business acumen, industry knowledge and negotiating skills, Megan serves as go-to counsel for many well-known brands and global enterprises. She structures, negotiates and closes industry-shaping transactions for clients worldwide, providing business-focused legal counsel that has proven vital to the success of transactions involving world-leading manufacturers of products used in virtually every home and business.
