Benesch Represents Algar Inc. in Sale of Grade A Auto Parts, Advancing Fenix Parts’ National Footprint

Benesch is pleased to announce that it represented Algar Inc., a leading provider of new and recycled auto parts, in the sale of its Grade A Auto Parts business to Fenix Parts, a recycler and reseller of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) automotive components.
Grade A Auto Parts is a recognized brand in the automotive recycling sector, with multiple locations across the Midwest and a strong national customer base. This partnership supports Fenix’s continued expansion by strengthening its nationwide recycling and distribution network and enhancing customer support capabilities in a key region. It also increases access to OEM parts for customers across the country.
As part of the transaction, Grade A Auto Parts CEO Sean Garber, who acquired the company in 2005, will join the Fenix Parts Board of Directors.
The Benesch team was led by Corporate Partner Ermias Abebe and included Matthew Harris, Morgan McCracken, Sean Crowley, Emily Morrison, Kara Sturtz, Rachit Parikh, Dan Marks, Adam Primm, and Brad Wenclewicz.
