In this latest development, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Craig T. Goldblatt said he would tentatively approve the company’s latest disclosure statement, allowing the debtor to solicit votes on its proposed liquidation plan. While Yellow’s largest shareholder, MFN Partners, raised objections, including concerns over the committee’s role in overseeing a post-confirmation trust, the committee confirmed its intention to appoint an independent trustee to manage claim objections.
