Noelle Torrice Receives 2025 Mary “Mimi” C. Boudart Award from DSBA Women and the Law Section
March 28, 2025
Benesch is proud to announce that Senior Managing Associate Noelle Torrice has received the Mary “Mimi” C. Boudart Award, presented by the Women and the Law Section of the Delaware State Bar Association.
This prestigious recognition honors attorneys who have been members of the bar for 15 years or less, celebrating their professional excellence and significant contributions to advancing women in law. By highlighting emerging leaders, the award encourages dedication to the profession and fosters a culture of mentorship, collaboration and innovation.
“This award is a very-well deserved recognition of what those who have the privilege of working with Noelle already know to be true: Noelle is an exemplar of ‘we rise by lifting others.’ She seeks out opportunities to mentor and is intentional about helping others find their way,” said Litigation Partner Kate Harmon. “Noelle is adept at navigating challenges and building consensus, and she does not shy away from bold and brave leadership when circumstances call for it.”
Noelle focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, handling cases such as contract disputes, business torts and trade secret misappropriation. Her deep experience spans all phases of litigation—from investigation and negotiation to discovery and motion practice. She also represents clients in creditors’ rights and bankruptcy matters and has significant experience in insurance coverage, liability defense and transportation issues.
At Benesch, Noelle plays a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s mission and culture. She serves on the Pro Bono Committee, the WIN Steering Committee and as chair of the Associate Development Committee. She also previously held a two-year term as co-chair of the Delaware State Bar Association’s Women and the Law Section.
Beyond her legal practice, Noelle is dedicated to community service, serving on the Board of Directors for Friendship House, a nonprofit organization aiding individuals experiencing homelessness in Delaware. Her commitment to teamwork, creative problem-solving and community impact embodies the values celebrated by the Mary “Mimi” C. Boudart Award.
