Benesch served as legal counsel to Umpqua Holdings Corporation in the sale of its wealth management business, operated through Umpqua Investments, Inc., to Steward Partners Global Advisory, LLC.
Umpqua’s 23 Financial Advisors manage $3.4 billion in client assets generating $15 million in revenue and will become equity partners and employees of Steward Partners. The acquisition is expected to close in the first quarter of 2021 and marks Steward Partners’ expansion into the Pacific Northwest. Learn more about the deal here.
