Anna is a commercial litigator and trial lawyer with over a decade of experience litigating high-stakes, complex commercial matters for industry-leading clients. She has represented clients across a wide range of industries, including financial services, technology, consulting, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, consumer goods, cryptocurrency, energy, oil and gas, and construction. Her robust skills and experience give her the versatility to tackle cases involving diverse subject matters and logistical challenges.
Anna’s commercial litigation and arbitration practice includes securities litigation, multidistrict litigation, contract disputes, unfair competition, earnout disputes, trade secret misappropriation, toxic torts, product liability, antitrust enforcement, M&A litigation, contested bankruptcy proceedings, indemnification disputes and appellate matters. She has also counseled clients on compliance matters and in connection with government and internal investigations.

- Represented Zendesk, Inc. in a putative shareholder class action related to its $10.2 billion take-private acquisition by Permira Advisors LLC and Hellman & Friedman LLC, winning dismissal of all claims in federal court.*
- Represented Sumo Logic, Inc. in a putative shareholder class action related to Francisco Partners’ $1.7 billion take-private acquisition of the company, winning dismissal of all claims twice in federal court. Appeal pending.*
- Represented Eli Lilly and Company in litigation related to a collaboration agreement to codevelop an investigational drug.*
- Counseled a leading technology services and consulting company in contract and trade secret disputes arising out of software development for state health insurance exchanges.*
- Represented BP and its affiliates in defending and resolving thousands of economic loss and property damage claims arising from the 2010 Deepwater Horizon incident in the Gulf of Mexico, including by winning dismissal of hundreds of claims due to various procedural, pleading and evidentiary deficiencies.*
- Won summary judgment on behalf of Vista Equity Partners Management in a trade secrets, tortious interference and breach of contract suit related to the $160 million sale of MicroEdge to BlackBaud.*
- Represented the sellers in an earnout dispute arising out of the sale of an air handling manufacturer, securing a multi-million dollar recovery.*
- Represented Thoma Bravo LP in multidistrict litigation arising out of the collapse of cryptocurrency exchange FTX.*
- Counseled the special committee of the board of directors of a construction company in internal and SEC investigations of alleged accounting fraud.*
