Overview
Carlo focuses his practice on general commercial litigation and complex business litigation, and is also a part of Benesch’s Retail & E-Commerce practice group.
Carlo represents both institutional and individual clients in federal and state court, as well as in arbitration proceedings. His practice encompasses many aspects of litigation, including appearances on behalf of clients in civil hearings, motion practice, and discovery.
Carlo received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law, where he served as the vice president of the Texas Real Estate Law Society and the Development Articles Editor for the Texas Environmental Law Journal. As a staff member of the journal, he published an article addressing recent advancements in water rights and regulation. Throughout law school, Carlo also worked as a legal intern at a startup company in the emerging ghost kitchen industry.
Prior to joining Benesch, Carlo worked for several years as a paralegal at a prominent plaintiff’s litigation firm in the Bay Area, where he worked on high profile, multi-party complex lawsuits pertaining to a range of antitrust and consumer protection issues.
